Why does BL Prevoz exist?

Public transport in Banja Luka is provided by multiple operators, and information about routes, timetables, and ticket prices is often scattered across different sources or difficult to find.

BL Prevoz was created to bring that information together and make it accessible to everyone: simply, clearly, and free of charge. The platform's goal is to help every user quickly find what they need to move around the city.

What can you do on BL Prevoz?

An independent project

BL Prevoz is not an official website of the City of Banja Luka, any transport operator, or any institution. It is an independent, volunteer-driven platform with no commercial backing and no affiliation with any transport company or public authority.

The website is free to use and continues to be developed as part of a broader, likewise independent open data initiative in Bosnia and Herzegovina, which is not affiliated with government institutions, transport operators, or any organization.

Where does the information come from?

All information on the platform is gathered from:

• publicly available data and sources
• official operator announcements
• information published by transport operators

We present information in a way that is useful for the public. We aim to keep it accurate and up to date, but we still recommend checking with operators for the latest changes.

Open data

BL Prevoz is guided by open data principles. Public transport information serves the public interest and should be freely available to everyone.

The source code of this project is publicly available, and the data shown on the site may be freely used for informational purposes. We hope this approach can encourage similar open data initiatives in our city and beyond.

Future plans

The platform continues to evolve. Planned improvements include:

• expanding information about other modes of transport
• improving the map and adding bus route visualization
